Natalie's First Professional Haircut

So, Thursday we decided to take Natalie to get her first true haircut. Instead of me fighting with her to stay still.

She loved it!! She was so excitied to walk in this place...the salon had two jungle gyms in the middle, tv screens all over the place, video games for Dustin to play.

It was perfect!! I am so glad that Natalie had a great time.

Rhino

Ugggghhhhh. I have a rhino liner in my truck, its 4 years old and is peeling and cracking. Luckily, Rhino has a lifetime warranty. But, the lifetime warranty doesn't cover removing the old rhino liner. So, I have to pay $350 to remove the Rhino liner that I paid $360 to have installed, so that the Rhino liner place can install a new Rhino liner under warranty. How does that make any sense???

On a positive note, the guy seemed to like us and gave us a Rhino stuffed animal for Natalie. Does that make up for me having to pay $350??? Heck no.

Garage Sale!

Have I mentioned that I do not like getting ready for garage sales? Someone needs to start a company that comes into your house, and takes all your junk and sells it for you. Why couldn't we just sign up for one of those TV shows that comes takes all your junk and remodels your house? We don't even need the remodel part, so it would be that much easier. Makes sense to me.

Let crazy begin...

This summer started out pretty normal, we were actually planning a summer vacation for the kids. Things were going to be busy, however, we had no idea just how busy.... We had 2 summer birthdays (Addie and Allison) and the birthday girls had signed up to go to Palmyra, NY, so we knew that was coming...

For the past 10 months, we have been in a holding pattern waiting to find out if I would be going on recruiting duty. In June, Kevin found out that he was selected to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. And shortly after that, we finally got the answer we had wanted. He was no longer going to be a recruiter! This news was just what we wanted. Like mentioned before, for the past 10 months we thought that we were moving, so we hadn't done anything to the house, hadn't purchased any new gizmos, gadgets, or toys. So we started get back to normal, planning upgrades and improvements. Literally, one week after finding out that we were staying, we found out that we were moving to San Diego. So here we come cali....

Let crazy being...we need to get everything ready for the move! Garage Sale, I say...Kevin says, donate!! We let you all know more about our adventures in getting ready to move!!
